Debuted in the 1990s, the Toyota RAV4 was one of the first vehicles in the small crossover SUV market. Today’s RAV4 is much larger than the original, but the main attraction of good fuel economy, flexibility, and favorable driving characteristics is completely intact.
The 2018 Toyota RAV4 is a five-passenger compact crossover SUV sold in LE, XLE, Adventure, SE, Limited and Platinum trim levels.
All the 2018 Toyota RAV4 come standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 176 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic is the only transmission offered. Front-wheel drive is standard on all trim levels, and all-wheel drive available as optional. EPA fuel economy rating is impressive at (26/23/30) for FWD and (25/22/28) for AWD.
