The 2018 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid gets a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 combined with an electric motor to produce 416 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque. In a pure electric mode, the S E-Hybrid should be able to drive about 20 miles before the gas engine kicks in. Recharging the battery takes about 2.7 hours using the standard 3.6-kilowatt onboard charger and high-voltage current. The optional 7.2-kilowatt charger cuts that time in half.
Despite its name suggests, the 2018 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid is a beast on the track. Its only need 5.2 seconds to reach 60 mph. EPA estimated fuel economy stands at 22 mpg combined (21 city/24 highway).
The 2018 Porsche Cayenne GTS gets you a more powerful version of the S engine and bumps the output to 440 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Porsche estimates the GTS hit 60 in just 4.9 seconds. Fuel economy estimated at 19 mpg combined (16 city/23 highway).
The 2018 Porsche Cayenne Turbo has a turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 good for 520 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. Porsche says the Cayenne Turbo can make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 4.2 seconds. The Turbo S boosting engine output to 570 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. 0 to 60 times is an astounding 3.8 seconds. Both carry an EPA fuel economy rating of 17 mpg combined (14 city/21 highway).
