Under the hood, 2018 Lexus LX 570 has a 5.7-liter V8 engine that delivers 383 horsepower and 403 pound-feet of torque. It paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A full-time four-wheel-drive system with crawl control, hill start assist and a driver-selectable multi-terrain system are standard.
In track testing, the 2018 Lexus LX 570 hit 60 mph in 7.3 seconds, which is about a second slower than the average for this class. EPA estimated fuel economy is disappointing, at 15 mpg combined (13 city/18 highway). A Drive Mode Select system enables drivers to select certain powertrain and suspension configurations via a console-mounted dial.
