All new 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT is now based on the latest Elantra sedan and share the same basic mechanical. But the GT offers a unique body style and cabin design along with a firmer, sport-tuned suspension and driver-adjustable steering calibrations.

The 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT is a four-door hatchback sold in base and Sport trim levels.

The 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT Sport is backed by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 201 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive and six-speed manual transmission are standard, while a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic available as an option. In track testing, the 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT Sport with manual transmission hit 60 mph in 6.6 seconds. EPA fuel economy at 28 mpg combined (26 city/32 highway).
